An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Graphic Designer to join the team! This role will see you take ownership of creative outputs and help take the brand forward with strong concepts & creative vision, building our brand with millions of fans around the world each day.
Day to day, you will:
Develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts that will maximise revenue/conversion, meeting business objectives within our target audience
Manage all creative assets and evolve design mediums including digital design & execution, video content, print and other media as required. Ensure we are constantly innovating and concepting creatives that help evolve our brand identity
Ensure all designs are to the optimal standard for each platform; Organic social, paid social, digital and video
Lead the design team with strong campaign art-direction, ensuring it is aligned to the brand guidelines
Work closely with the wider team to bring to life the vision for each campaign through strong graphic design, art direction & post production, ensuring they are impactful, engaging, and cohesive across all platforms & create a strong & recognisable handwriting for the brand
Ensure OKR and campaign reporting is complete, and feedback loops/retro’s are completed to make design improvements for the future
Be on the pulse of the latest design & social trends as well as being up to date with content from our competitors
Design and produce material weekly for EDMs, e-commerce website, social media platforms & digital ads, from concept to delivery, that position the company as fashionably fun and aspirational.
Creative concepting: Art direction + TOV for all upcoming campaigns
Manage 1 direct report via 1:1s, responsibilities delegation & work progress (mainly innovative posts and working with social)
Collab weekly with the socials team on Showpo grid planning and take ownership of aesthetics
Delegating/managing tasks and processes across the social + creative teams
Social reporting, trade TLDR + weekly competitor research / managing docs (Cool Creatives doc + TOV)
Who we need:
Strong design skills that can be applied to all platforms, with an understanding of designing optimised for each channel
Ability to multitask & manage multiple deadlines
Passionate & understanding of social media channels, constantly looking for trends & innovative ideas
Provide suggestions and give feedback to Snr team members on GD best practices & brand assets
Own IG grid aesthetics and work on enhancing and elevating visual
Team Performance: Measuring the performance of the design team and ensuring that they are meeting their KPIs and goals.
People Management: Meet the required expectations for a people manager, managing the junior graphic designer.
Ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment, with ability to multitask and prioritise different creative projects and assets
Ability to design according to brand guidelines, create impactful designs & evolve/concept ideas in line with the brand guidelines
Autonomous style of working with strong organisational skills
Evolve & elevate the brand through strong creative & art direction across campaigns
Support in rolling out new brand guidelines & creating detailed graphic guidelines for internal & external creatives
Ability to understand the market & come up with new, on trend ideas, remaining creative in your approach & innovative
Effective & clear understanding and response to briefs, work aligned to the creative direction given
