Job Summary
The HR Technology Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs and processes and ensuring that business requirements are accurately elicited and translated into HR Technology solutions that deliver validated benefits, all within system, business and project constraints.
Configures complex technical solutions to enhance existing technology and manage new projects that support HR and the Business. Applies consistent SOX compliant change and audit controls in all configurations.
A well organized, analytical approach is needed, with an emphasis on process improvement and a focus on finding technical solutions.
JOB-DESCRIPTION
Extensive business process configuration knowledge is a must (certificate is preferred)
Experience with Workday security is preferable (certificate is preferred)
Experience with EiBs is a must (Enterprise Interface Builder)
Experience with inbound and outbound (Workday) integrations is preferable (certificate is preferred)
Investigate and understand business needs and processes, including related HR processes
Collaborate with implementation partner and subject matter experts to investigate and understand existing systems and processes, the impact of new developments, and how best to deliver the solution
Negotiate and agree scope and timescales with users to achieve the best possible match between business needs and systems capability
Work with stakeholders to build agreed and tangible business solutions
Ownership of design, configuration and implementation of functional area of expertise e.g. compensation, performance, security etc., collaborating with HR to ensure these meet the global HR and Business needs.
Manage user acceptance testing, ad hoc testing and the process for post-implementation support to enable the delivery of required functionality.
Identify areas of opportunity to improve existing technology processes, functionality and workflow, and maximize technological capabilities to reduce manual processes.
Drive robust audit processes to ensure the technical integrity of the information in the HRIS system and comply with SOX requirements.
Recommend methods of continuous improvement, particularly in technical processes and solution delivery, and help to facilitate their implementation.
Proactively review integrations for improvements and partner with IT to manage and troubleshoot these integrations.
Escalate issues to external Vendor in a timely fashion as required, while being mindful of budget constraints, as detailed by HR Technology Leadership.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing and tracking technical and functional details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
