As the first point of contact for our Mangers and staff, this role will provide advice and support on all human resources policy and employee relations matters. Ensuring compliance with workplace legislation and a fair and consistent approach to Multiplant’s policies and procedures, we see this role as pivotal in promoting a positive and innovative culture across our Group.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide general HR advice to our friendly staff, team leaders, and managers across the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
Assist managers in resolving employee relations matters, including grievances, disputes, performance management and development.
Develop and review Group HR policies and procedures (including development of our ERMP) and implementation of HR internal systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
Support end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and reviewing and preparing employment contracts.
Interpret and apply the Fair Work Act, and various Modern Awards applicable to the Company.
Be a part of Employee Value Proposition and Human Resources strategy implementation projects.
Undertake general HR administrative tasks, as required, such as maintaining employee records, preparing HR reports, and managing HR systems.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications required:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
Previous experience within the Civil Construction and/or Mining Industries.
Sound understanding of Australian industrial relations frameworks and knowledge of relevant industry awards and agreements (preferably within the Civil Construction Industry)
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, solve problems and manage a busy and varied workload.
Experience in the development of policies, procedures, and training.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
