Job Description
As a Senior Human Resources Consultant, you'll play a critical role in driving change management and enhancing the associate experience within our operations projects. Collaborating closely with operations leaders, you’ll gain insights into business needs to show how our HR strategies can add significant value to our stores and associates. You will also partner with various Human Resources Centers of Excellence to coordinate on key projects, ensuring that all necessary HR resources contribute effectively and at the right time. Your expertise will be vital as you champion change management initiatives, fostering a seamless transition throughout operational changes.
Key Responsibilities:
• 10% Agile Retrospective - Analyze and document project-related issues and risks, ensuring they're resolved promptly. Capture lessons learned at the conclusion of projects to improve future initiatives.
• 35% Business Partnership & Assessment - Engage with business leaders to gain a comprehensive understanding of needs and project outcomes, ensuring value is derived from people-focused change management.
• 20% Communication & Collaboration - Disseminate vital project information to key HR stakeholders, supporting both the business and COEs in data collection, timeline construction, and change management planning.
• 35% Thought Leadership - Lead the development of project plans, facilitating essential meetings to ensure that all elements impacting the associate experience, from recruitment to organizational change, are thoroughly considered.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
• This position typically reports to the Senior Director or Director of Human Resources.
• This position usually has 0-3 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
• This role requires less than 10% overnight travel.
Physical Requirements:
• Most work is conducted in a comfortable position, with occasional light lifting or movement.
Working Conditions:
• The workplace is a comfortable indoor setting with infrequent unpleasant conditions.
Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong collaboration skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated project management expertise.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing large, cross-functional projects.
• Prior HR generalist background.
• Strong ability to illustrate data-driven narratives using Microsoft tools.
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
Preferred Education:
• No additional educational requirements.
