Role Summary
The Officer / Senior Officer – HR (Talent Acquisition) will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment operations for a large manufacturing plant. The role requires hands-on experience in plant-level hiring, strong coordination with functional teams, and disciplined execution of recruitment and onboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
• Manage pre- and post-recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer processing, and onboarding
• Source candidates through multiple channels such as job portals, social networking sites, referrals, campus recruitment, and local hiring networks
• Evaluate candidates against defined job descriptions to ensure qualification match, cultural fit, and role compatibility
• Conduct confidential HR interviews and coordinate technical assessments
Hiring Manager & Stakeholder Coordination
• Work closely with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring timelines
• Map role criteria, prepare position descriptions, and document job specifications
• Present shortlisted candidates with detailed evaluation summaries to concerned departments
Offer Management & Onboarding
• Support offer discussions and facilitate salary negotiations until closure
• Follow up with candidates through joining and onboarding processes
• Verify employee certificates, credentials, and statutory documents
Process Compliance & Documentation
• Maintain recruitment records, trackers, and reports in line with internal HR processes
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
Employee Engagement & Relations (Added Advantage)
• Support employee engagement initiatives at the plant level
• Assist in employee relations activities as required
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: MBA / MHRM / MSW (Full-time)
• Experience: 5–8 years of Talent Acquisition experience in a reputed manufacturing organization, preferably with plant HR exposure
• Experience in process manufacturing environments will be an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
• Strong experience in plant-level recruitment operations
• Good understanding of technical, operational, and support function hiring
• MS Office proficiency i.e. MS Excel / PowerPoint and MS Word are a must .
• Experience in any Pharma or paper or chemical process industry will be given preference .
• Good Communication Skills i.e. proficiency in English & Hindi as well
