The Senior Implementation Advisor will manage medium-to-large sized, multi-phase Software Implementation projects within our Citywide Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Platform. The Citywide Platform delivers a cost-effective and scalable solution for seamless collaboration across all teams, departments, and citizens. The Senior Implementation Advisor will also be responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to interpret, document and resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely, professional and customer centered manner. The Senior Implementation Advisor will work directly with our clients, assisting in defining their requirements and identifying their business objectives. They must possess logical software problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly understand business problems and communicate solutions to the client while adhering to project deliverables and schedules. As a senior team member, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members. This is a Full Time Remote based role within Canada.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Act as Project Manager on medium-to-large sized multi-phase software implementation projects.
Manage client expectations, serves as a subject matter expert to provide best-practice solutions
and advice while recommending a course of action.
Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to ensure on-time
and accurate implementation while managing expectations with clients throughout the project
process.
Plan, track and communicate throughout the software implementation project lifecycle, while
managing project constraints to achieve client success objectives.
Utilize internal Project Management Software to communicate and manage the lifecycle of each
implementation project and prepare applicable project reports and status updates.
Understands PSD's product release and patch process, planning potential client impact accordingly.
Discuss JIRA tickets during team status meetings, collaborate on solutions and prioritize
requirements.
Work with client stakeholders to recommend process improvements and to develop and implement software configuration strategies.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with clients to identify business objectives, providing
software demonstrations to fully explain capabilities.
Analyze data to determine best course of action and configuration.
Create and maintain configuration, testing, process, project documentation as needed - configure components based on the needs analysis.
Escalate client issues to appropriate team members to ensure that they are addressed in a timely
manner.
Advise clients on applicable industry best practices.
Act as a guide and mentor for junior staff members.
Possess a strong understanding of our products, services and processes and suggest areas for
improvement when necessary, creating new analytic solutions that will become part of PSD’s core
deliverables.
Maintain industry leader status through continuous team development and contributions to PSD
knowledge base by attending conferences, user groups and industry webinars.
Ensure conformance of all company and departmental standards and policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


5-8 years experience in a similar role or related field implementing complex software modules.
College or University Degree in GIS, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or Information
Management.
5-8 years of experience applying standard software implementation techniques providing software solutions in a client facing role.
5-8 years experience with project management tools, methodologies and best practices as well as
experience with PMIS software such as Kantata, Smartsheets or MS Project.
Familiarity with cloud software environments and being at the intermediate or expert level with
technologies.
Experience working with clients in a software support, municipal clients an asset.
Strong interpersonal, presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to foster internal/external relationships and resolve issues.
Comfortable working in an individual and team goal-oriented role.
Comfortable facilitating meetings with various client contacts.
Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate complex implementation projects and communicate with key contacts within the public sector.
Strong organizational skills, comfortable with multi-tasking and project management abilities.
Deadline driven individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, creativity, and able to collaborate with team members with professionalism and tact.
Growth and entrepreneurial mindset.
Travel to clients throughout Canada and the USA to provide on-site workshops.
Valid driver's license and passport for travel.
