We are looking for a seasoned key accounts manager to support our expanding business portfolio in India.
This role will be responsible for meeting sales and market share goals in the assigned region through sales to original equipment manufacturers, distributor partners, and large end-user customers. The successful candidate will build customer confidence in Kollmorgen products and foster loyalty to the brand.
Key deliverables include:
• Driving growth in Kollmorgen's product portfolio, including Thomson products, in the industrial automation segment.
• Penetrating targeted OEMs and end-user customers, developing customer profiles, creating opportunities with existing clients and new prospects.
• Taking the lead in major key OEM accounts in strategic markets.
• Managing key accounts in the assigned territory.
• Driving growth across diverse sets of channel distribution accounts.
• Proactively leading joint partner planning processes to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with productive partner relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the value proposition across different distributors and how they go to market.
Achieving regional targets in sales and revenue is essential. The role also requires effective execution of sales planning tools and managing sales activities to generate revenue in the region.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills
The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the candidate should have:
• Engineering qualifications preferably in electronic, communication, drive technology, power electronics, or industrial automation.
• A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in sales of industrial automation products in motion control applications.
• Good knowledge and understanding of applications in motion control, including machine automation.
• Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and growing market share.
• Ability to alter customer specifications to include their product.
• Strong sales background in factory/industrial automation.
• Knowledge of motion control, including motion systems, servo motors, and servo drives.
Work Environment and Travelling
The role involves frequent traveling and requires the ability to cope with 'stretch' and flexibility.
Assigned Region: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala.
