We are currently hiring for:
Position - Sr. IoT Developer
Job Location - Delhi (Okhla phase 3)
Job Mode - Work From Office (Hybrid)

About The Role:
• Write IoT software for embedded Linux platforms to control and operate building appliances
• Design and build reliable, scalable and secure software systems
• Work with the software backend team to develop APIs for interconnecting backend and IoT software applications
• Ensure reliable operation thousands of IoT devices deployed in the field
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that occur in those deployments
Responsibilities:
• Architect IoT solutions to cater to diverse business needs as well as eliminating product
• loopholes by design while keeping the modularity, scalability, and reliability of the product intact.
• Understand and streamline external and internal requirements like features, bug
• resolution managing dependencies, and technical debts.
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of all core architectural pipelines and
• other core services.
• Stay on top of technological industrial trends and developments to promote
• technological growth within the team and ensure technology being used at Smart Joules
• stays up to date.
• Strategize and incorporate better coding practices, quality of tests, and testing
• procedures to ensure the reliability of the system.
• Ensure that the production code is tested, reviewed, and well-documented.
• Ensure that the legacy code is properly refactored, documented, and up to date with the
• current coding standards and policies in place.
• Contribute to hiring superstars for the different teams at Smart Joules.
• Develop modular software and services keeping in mind the future scope of work.
• Write unit tests for the developed code with proper code and service documentation.
• Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics to benchmark/monitor system
• performance running at the edge.
• Mentor and guide the IoT team, helping them tackle issues they face at work.
• Working closely with other developers from teams like Backend, Embedded Systems,
• Frontend and UX designers, business and systems analyst.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years working on IoT technologies and embedded systems.
• Experience with the following tools and technologies:
• IoT Network Concepts and Protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTPS, Sockets,
• MODBUS, BACnet IP, BACnet MSTP)
• Python / C / C++
• SQL database, Time series database
• Embedded Linux operating systems such as Raspbian and Armbian
• Linux SBCs such as Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone
• Microcontrollers such as STM32 and ESP32
• IoT Cloud services such as AWS IoT and Google IoT
• Real time systems
• Unit testing frameworks such as Pytest and Google test.
Education: BE/ Btech/ ME/ MTech/ MCA
