• We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Senior Java Software Engineer Consultant to join our highly skilled team. This is a 100% remote role with opportunities to work on cutting-edge projects with international teams in an Agile environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and API development, along with a passion for innovation and a collaborative mindset. Additionally, experience with AI-assisted development tools and techniques is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
• Lead the development of robust and secure APIs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of best practices and coding standards.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our products and services.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and innovation.
• Integrate AI and machine learning models into applications to provide intelligent features and improve user experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Senior Java Software Engineer, with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience in API development, with a deep understanding of RESTful services and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with a track record of delivering high-quality software in an iterative development environment.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and techniques, including integrating AI models into applications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular) is a plus.
• Familiarity with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
