Sr. Manager/AGM - Logistics
This role oversees large fleets (internal and external) for managing end-to-end movement of finished goods from manufacturing plants to port/customs locations while ensuring efficient return logistics.
• Fleet & Transport Management:
Ensure timely dispatch availability optimal load planning Preventive and breakdown maintenance programs Vehicle safety route adherence turnaround times GPS/fleet tracking
• End-to-End Logistics Execution:
Dispatch from manufacturing plants Domestic export ports/customs points Coordinate reverse logistics Rejected materials containers Documentation accuracy customs port handling Avoid penalties delays Ensure compliance RTO port hazardous material transportation norms Bromine chemicals Maintain company's safety quality sustainability policies Periodic audits fleet documentation driver certifications Optimise transportation costs Route planning consolidation load optimisation Support commercial freight rates contracts transporters ports service providers Reduce demurrage detention charges proactive coordination Build sustain long-term partnerships transporters shipping lines vendors Liaise with authorities officials priority cargo handling clearance Collaborate internal teams Production Sales Finance Commercial Export Import align logistics business needs
