What you will be doing -
• Works with Onshore Tech Leads to ensure that assigned work is completed efficiently, meets business requirements, stays within scope, and is delivered on time
• Plays a key role in resolving technical roadblocks involving mainframe technologies.
• Responsible for building new / enhance mainframe Cobol programs / JCLs, use mainframe utilizes tools to complete the tasks,
• Run mainframe batch jobs, monitor and trouble shoot any roadblocks with the batch processes in collaboration with the onshore project leads
• Continually improve quality of the deliverables
• Ensures code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and effectively.
• Assisting in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environment
What you bring -
• Minimum of 3 + years of experience with Mainframe technologies – Cobol, JCL, VSAM, DB2 & Mainframe utilities & tools
• Experience with working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodology
• Experience with Linux / shell scripts / regular expressions are preferred
• Experience working with BFSI project is preferred
Skills –

Nice to have-

Qualifications -
• A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

• Fluent in English.
• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical & business requirements with Clients and Internal teams based at onshore & India locations
• Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
