This includes casework services for migrants in transition to ensure they have their humanitarian needs met and are participating and included in Australian society. About the role
The Senior Manager - Case Work is responsible for leading quality service delivery of nationwide casework programs and will exercise managerial responsibility and guidance to ensure programs are delivered in accordance with the Client Practice Framework and adhere to financial requirements. The position will provide indirect leadership across a large and geographically dispersed workforce of staff.

The role will also collaborate with senior leaders across the division to provide strategic case management advice supporting service delivery, advocacy, and program growth, while ensuring programs are compliant, financially sustainable, and achieve positive client/community outcomes.

What you will bring
Highly developed skills and experience in leading teams responding to complex and diverse client needs.
Substantial experience as a practice advisor, senior practitioner or similar role within a service delivery operation in social work services or comparable organisation.
Advanced skill in working with front line staff and supervisors to strengthen their client practice and critical reflection.
Highly developed skills in the ability to proactively identify practice and service trends, barriers and opportunities, and subsequently implement changes that improve the quality-of-service delivery.
Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to manage cultural and individual differences effectively and equitably. A proven ability to identify opportunities for engagement and support of a variety of different cultural values in the workplace.
Proven track record in developing strategies focused on delivering quality outcomes for clients, considering external events and trends impacting the organisation and ability to identify opportunities to influence the external environment.

Working with Children Check
Tertiary qualification in social work, social science, psychology with substantial relevant experience (postgraduate).
