Job Description
We are looking for a highly competent and qualified Chartered Accountant with over 5 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate environment, preferably in a company with a turnover of 100 crore or more. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations
Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure statutory compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable laws
Handle internal and statutory audits, liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies
Monitor and manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Lead finance team and ensure accurate reporting and timely closings
Cash flow and working capital management
Collaborate with senior management for strategic financial planning
Ensure strong internal controls and cost optimization measures
MIS reporting for performance tracking and decision-making
Overseeing of quarterly and annual accounts finalisation
Reviewing Balance Sheet and other statements including results to be published along with notes thereto.
Interacting with auditors - important audit issues and resolutions.
Transition to new FAS and such non-routine matters.
Overseeing processes of annual Income Tax Returns (ITRs)
Review of ITRs once finalised by consultant, discussing major aspects if any.
Overseeing routine compliances and returns.
Assessments - understanding the matters involved, aspects to be taken care of and discussing with consultants our submissions. Briefly reviewing submissions prepared by consultants.
Planning periodic meetings and reviewing agenda, minutes and disclosures for which work would be done by the consultants.
Corporate matters relating to a subsidiary company.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and corporate finance
Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle, or any standard ERP system
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
Exposure to financial reporting in companies with high revenue turnover
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience: 5+ Years (Post Qualification)
Industry Preference: Corporate/Manufacturing Company with 100 Cr+ turnover
