Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the recruitment efforts for our road sweeper manufacturing company. This role involves identifying, attracting, and securing top-quality talent for a range of positions, including Key Account Managers, Sales Managers, After-Sales Engineers, CAD Engineers, Production Engineers, Welders, and Laborers. The ideal candidate will develop effective hiring strategies and ensure we build a high-performing and motivated team aligned with our company's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy tailored to attract talent for diverse roles across departments (sales, engineering, production, and skilled labour).
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor practices to ensure competitive hiring practices.Sourcing and Outreach:
• Leverage job portals, social media platforms, professional networks, and local communities to source potential candidates.
• Build relationships with technical institutes, training centers, and recruitment agencies to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for skilled roles like welders and production engineers.
Recruitment Process Management:
• Design and execute end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, resume screening, interviews, and reference checks.
• Ensure seamless coordination with hiring managers to understand role requirements and define candidate profiles.
• Implement structured evaluation tools to assess both technical and behavioral competencies.
Candidate Experience:
• Provide an engaging and professional candidate experience from application to onboarding.
• Act as a brand ambassador to communicate the company's values and career growth opportunities effectively.
Team Collaboration:
• Partner with department heads and senior leadership to identify hiring needs and prioritize recruitment activities.
• Work with HR to align recruitment efforts with long-term workforce planning and organizational goals.
Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:
• Track key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, and cost-per-hire, to optimize the recruitment process.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on hiring progress and challenges.
Employer Branding:
• Promote the company’s reputation as an employer of choice in the road sweeper manufacturing industry.
• Develop and execute strategies to attract high-caliber talent, including local branding initiatives, employee referral programs, and community outreach.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in talent acquisition, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or related industries.
• Familiarity with hiring for diverse roles, including technical, managerial, and labor-intensive positions.
• Strong understanding of recruitment tools, job boards, and social media sourcing strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume recruitment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills to assess candidate fit effectively.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in the road sweeper or manufacturing industry is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment management software.
• Familiarity with skill certification standards for technical roles like welders and engineers.
