Job Description
CJ's Senior Marketing Specialist, APAC will be responsible for positioning CJ's innovative solutions, planning customer experiences at industry-sponsored and CJ-hosted programs/events and driving lead generation and account-based marketing in the region.
You will work closely with our global specialized team members to conceptualize, develop, and execute marketing strategies and tactics such as lead generation campaigns; social strategies and communications; account-based marketing tactics; virtual and in-person events from start to finish for sponsored tradeshows, corporate events, and regional conferences, and other marketing tactics, with area experts, such as SEO/SEM.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of digital marketing and growth marketing. You'll be a go-to for soliciting input from internal stakeholders. You will use this information to help create marketing for CJ that resonates in the industry and wins business. You will be accountable for measuring the success of your program and adjust and optimize it.
This person is a detail-oriented, creative, and technically capable marketer who can work cross-functionally connecting our global marketing team with business stakeholders in the region. They will manage marketing projects, priorities, and budgets.

What You'll Do:
• Work with the global marketing team to create an annual marketing plan for your region in close collaboration with the business stakeholders in the region, including key initiatives and deliverables per quarter with measurement for success.
• Manage and promote the execution of virtual and in-person events from start to finish for all assigned industry-sponsored tradeshows, corporate events, and field marketing programs.
• Manage event plans and deliverables, including setting timelines, division of duties, working with global marketing on content development and speaker sourcing, event sponsorship contract management, vendor sourcing, and relationships, promotions, collateral/marketing materials, giveaways and promotional items, A/V, food & beverage, labor, shipping logistics, staffing, hotels, etc.
• Oversee creating and localizing all content and communications, including marketing emails, web content, creative assets, and internal event updates.
• Collaborate with other marketing functions, including product marketing, content, brand/design, social, and business development, to plan event strategy and execute all event-related deliverables.
• Track and measure metrics for all tactics to make decisions on success and future programs.
• Manage overall regional and event budget successfully, tracking and negotiating vendor payments and actual expenses.
• Manage other marketing tactics such as SEO, SEM, and LinkedIn Campaigns from ideation to execution and measurement.
• Manage outside partner and vendor relationships.
• Willing to travel as needed to support team meetings, site visits, set-up, on-site execution, and tear-down.
Qualifications
• Related work experience and a minimum of 5+ years experience in the online marketing industry-ideally with events and tradeshow experience.
• The applicant will have strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency and strong work ethic with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically
• Exceptional communication skills via any medium--verbal, written, one-on-one, group, formal, informal, etc.
• Must be a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with a track record of leading projects from concept to completion with minimal oversite.
• Strong presentation skills and experience in expectation setting with stakeholders and/or leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with the business and stakeholders and to persuade, influence, and create consensus.
• Vendor sourcing, management, and event contract negotiation skills; registration and event communication best practices (experience with event platforms)
• Experience with paid media management is a plus.
• Ability to accept and interpret constructive feedback and pivot accordingly.
• Ability to create clarity, operate, and thrive in ambiguity.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office, especially proficient in PPT and Excel.
