Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Senior Network Systems Administrator will be responsible for the overall management, security, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure across Licentiam's global offices. This role includes overseeing network operations, managing system security, supporting hardware and software deployments, and maintaining compliance with SOC-2 and ISO 27001 certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Network Management:
• Oversee and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity across multiple locations.
• Manage the company’s VPN, providing secure remote access for employees in both India and the United States.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
System Administration:
• Administer and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Implement and manage software updates, patches, and upgrades across all systems.
• Provide technical support to employees for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Cybersecurity:
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Manage and maintain SOC-2 and ISO 27001 certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance and preparation for audits.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations in both India and the United States.
• Manage security incidents and provide timely resolution to minimize impact on business operations.
Hardware and Software Management:
• Manage the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software across the organization.
• Ensure all systems are up to date with the latest security patches and software updates.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Client Management:
• Manage relationships with clients, ensuring quality and timely resolution of issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on IT performance, cybersecurity incidents, and project progress for senior management.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT management, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and infrastructure management.
• Proven experience managing IT systems in a multi-location environment, preferably with international exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Experience in managing SOC-2 and ISO 27001 certifications.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, VPNs, cloud services, and IT hardware/software management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
