Production Manager Role
The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production processes.
• To establish and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment, adhering to established safety standards.
• To develop and execute strategies for asset maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and extending asset lifespan.
• Review of annual operational plans to optimize productivity, minimize costs, and maximize resource utilization.
• To monitor budgets against actual expenditures and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Optimization of equipment operating parameters to enhance overall efficiency.
• To ensure maximum capacity utilization while achieving budgeted production targets.
• To spearhead upgrades and improvements to production equipment, processes, and systems in line with business needs.
• To track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic decisions.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ceramics, or Chemical Engineering.
• A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a related field.
Preferred Industry: Float Glass Manufacturing
