AI and Automation Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing and a strong background in automation and artificial intelligence (AI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in pharmaceutical production environments and a proven track record of leveraging AI and automation technologies to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance quality control, and drive operational efficiency.
This role is responsible for leading and executing AI and automation initiatives within pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This includes designing and implementing AI-driven models for predictive maintenance, process optimization, quality assurance, and anomaly detection. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and develop data-driven solutions.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for evaluating and integrating smart manufacturing technologies into production lines. They will analyze manufacturing data to generate insights, reduce deviations, and ensure consistent product quality. Furthermore, they will lead pilot projects, assess ROI, and scale successful solutions across the manufacturing network.
To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Data Science, or a related field. You will also need minimum 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or production operations. Strong exposure to automation technologies used in pharma and provenexperience in deploying AI/ML projects in a manufacturing or quality control environment are essential.
Beyond technical skills, you will need excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and cGMP requirements is also necessary. Experience with digital twins, PAT, or computer vision applications is a plus. Preferred certifications include Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Certified Automation Professional, AI/ML certifications, and GAMP 5.
