The Senior Pharmacist will be responsible for providing medication and healthcare products to patients, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing of medications, and offering valuable advice and education to patients and healthcare professionals. This role requires strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as meticulous record-keeping of all dispensed medications.
Responsibilities:
• Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense medications and healthcare products to patients as per prescriptions.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards in the pharmacy practice.
• Patient Education: Provide advice and education to patients on the proper use of medications and healthcare products.
• Healthcare Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication use.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medications dispensed.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
• Safety Monitoring: Monitor and report any adverse drug reactions or medication errors.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient queries and concerns promptly.
• Training and Supervision: Train and supervise junior pharmacy staff to ensure high standards of practice.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and adhere to quality assurance protocols to maintain the highest standards of pharmacy practice.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in pharmacy practice.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
