Senior PHP Developer - Job Description
We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer with over 4 to 6 years of solid experience in developing robust web applications using PHP, Laravel, and other relevant technologies. The ideal candidate should be a passionate coder, a troubleshooting expert, and an efficient problem solver. You will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, ensuring high performance, and coordinating with both frontend and backend teams to deliver a seamless experience for our users.
PHP Developer Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using the PHP Laravel framework.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and debug software defects in Laravel applications.
• Document and maintain a comprehensive record of all reported incidents, troubleshooting steps taken, and their resolutions, particularly in the context of Laravel.
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis to identify and resolve any performance bottlenecks or system issues specific to Laravel.
• Monitor system logs and alerts, taking proactive measures to prevent and address any potential problems in the Laravel environment.
• Work with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations to enhance system functionalities.
• Utilize the Twilio API to integrate and enhance the functionality of our PHP Laravel applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly those related to Laravel, to continuously enhance the platform's performance and security.

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Laravel and PHP applications.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and web development practices, particularly in the context of Laravel.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing code for performance and scalability.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue.js, or React is a plus).
• Strong understanding of MySQL/SQL databases and ability to create complex queries in the context of Laravel's Eloquent ORM.
• Familiar with version control systems such as Git and Agile development practices and tools such as Jira.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar for application deployment.
• Familiarity with Twilio's SMS, voice, and video services, and ability to utilize their features effectively within Laravel applications.
• Strong understanding of security standards and practices (SQL injection, CSRF, XSS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot critical issues.
