The Opportunity
As a pivotal member of PwC's Scaled Engineering Services practice, you will help deliver reliable, scalable technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and business responsiveness. Our team leverages extensive technical knowledge and a strong service orientation to facilitate the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level IT systems and applications. In this capacity, you will lead the execution of technology initiatives, ensuring disciplined project planning, proactive stakeholder engagement, and seamless service delivery across multifaceted engineering teams.
In your role as a Program Manager, you will oversee the advancement and implementation of cutting-edge software engineering projects, ensuring alignment with engagement team needs and industry standards. You will use your analytical skills and critical thinking to cultivate meaningful connections with your engagement teams and guide your team through complex challenges. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, uphold professional and technical standards, and navigate uncertainty to deliver high-quality solutions.
You'll have the opportunity to work within our Advisory practice, focusing on managed services that improve engagement team operations. By applying your expertise in software development, project management, and requirements analysis, you'll create impactful solutions that support the broader business strategies of the firm.
Responsibilities
• Lead software engineering projects, managing timelines, objectives, planning, execution, and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and align solutions with those needs.
• Employ software development methodologies to enhance project outcomes and promote rigorous execution.
• Manage application development initiatives utilizing platforms such as Mendix and Appian.
• Apply solution architecture principles to design scalable systems and facilitate integration.
• Implement continuous integration and delivery practices to enhance deployment efficiency and quality.
• Oversee quality assurance testing to ensure compliance with standards and performance expectations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to optimize performance and technical efficacy.
• Utilize knowledge in AI and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
What You Must Have
• A Bachelor's degree or, if lacking a degree, equivalent specialized training and/or progressively responsible experience in Engineering Program Management.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
What Sets You Apart
• Proficiency in software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Possessing Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications.
• Strong analytical skills for project planning, troubleshooting, and solution development.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Familiarity with API management and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in project management tools like Microsoft Project and JIRA.
• Proficiency in managing budgets and financial resources effectively.
• Ability to negotiate resources, timelines, and scope with stakeholders.
• Experience in driving engagement team management and business process improvements.
• Understanding and leveraging AI technologies.
The salary range for this position is: $95,000 - $106,000. Actual compensation will depend on your skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
