What you'll do:
In your role as a Senior Program Manager, you will:
Drive planning and execution of releases from concept to GA. Understand and assess critical paths and dependencies for developing and shipping products and facilitate discussions between delivery team of Product Managers, Engineering, QE and other functional teams throughout all the phases of release.
Build and run, with the team, the Quarterly release & Sprint plan (schedule, dependencies, risks, etc.). Use your technical background and product knowledge to proactively identify risks, issues and drive their resolution.
Be the expert on Product development life cycle processes and champion process best practices, metrics and high-quality standards with your delivery team.
Independently and accurately report on the state of release/program to executive stakeholders. Be the trusted speaker on the state of release/program in key checkpoint reviews.
Make constant assessment of feature pipeline, work done and work quality to support decision making on release delivery schedule.
Take product release deliverables live after driving legal, security, compliance, mandatory doneness and other launch activities.
Assist teams in establishing clear commitments to stakeholders and hold the teams accountable for meeting these commitments.
Drive other horizontal initiative related to continuous improvement of development process and any program management tools adoption.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study.
10+ years of overall experience with at least 7 years in program management methodologies.
Mastered Agile methods and practices through multiple teams (Scrum and Kanban). Certification in PMP/Scrum Master preferred.
Strong practical and advanced theoretical understanding of managing the life-cycle of large-scale programs and releases in Product organizations.
Highly flexible, and able to change course quickly. Effectively juggle between multiple activities and priorities at same time
Evidenced ability to build support for ideas; credible enough in the role to influence highly intelligent and highly technical team members.
Experience modifying and/or defining processes rather than applying what exists today.
Self-driven with a general interest in new things.
Experience must include Agile (Scrum, Kanban), and Six Sigma
Experience in Program management tools used for Planning, Execution, Tracking, and Reporting, including Aha, Jira, and Business Objects.
Experience in Java, node.js, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience in developing and/or testing Cloud technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
