Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic team at Cherry Hill Interiors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all architectural phases of a project, from conceptual design through to construction completion. This role requires a creative problem-solver with strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, design teams, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the architectural design process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop and review architectural plans, drawings, and specifications for interior spaces.
• Collaborate with interior designers, engineers, and other team members to create cohesive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions, provide guidance, and monitor project progress.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Prepare and present design proposals, presentations, and reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure project specifications are adhered to during the construction phase.
• Provide technical expertise and resolve any architectural challenges that arise during design and construction.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural design with a focus on interior architecture or design.
• Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and working within budget and time constraints.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities, with the ability to manage and motivate a design team.
• LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications is a plus.
