Key Responsibilities
Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices
Lead test planning, test case design, and execution for complex systems
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks (UI, API, performance)
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Identify, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools
Ensure CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools
Participate in release planning and risk assessment
Required Skills & Qualifications
5–10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies
Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript)
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to microservices architecture
Knowledge of security testing is a plus
ISTQB or relevant QA certifications
