The Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Solink’s AI-powered products. You’ll work with our AI Development Team to test new features, validate model outputs, and maintain robust test plans. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity to shape Solink’s product quality strategy and help deliver cutting-edge capabilities to our customers.
You’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of QA for the AI team—including manual, automated, and exploratory testing—while helping define and evolve our testing strategy as we scale.
What You’ll Do
Drive QA efforts within the AI development team, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across new and existing features.
Create and maintain detailed test plans and test strategies; define quality goals and track them through release cycles.
Design and execute manual and automated functional, regression, and non-functional tests for frontend and backend components
Validate AI model outputs to ensure accurate, fair, and reliable results across diverse datasets and edge cases.
Identify, design, and execute comprehensive test coverage plans, including end-to-end (E2E) tests across environments
Collaborate closely with the development team and product management to understand upcoming features, create test cases, and provide input to uphold quality in the development lifecycle
Develop deep expertise in our SaaS platform, viewing it from the perspectives of customers, internal support teams, and customer success managers who set up accounts
Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify risks early and build quality into the development lifecycle.
Mentor and support junior QA team members with a focus on AI-specific testing methodologies.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA practices, tooling, and test automation coverage.
What You Bring
Must-Have:
5+ years of experience in both manual and automated software testing, with direct experience testing or working with Enterprise SaaS applications or systems with high reliability and scalability.
Proven experience testing backend services, APIs, and complex system integrations.
Ability to create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and strategies.
Proven experience using Python for test automation or scripting
Foundational understanding of how AWS services support SaaS applications for IoT environments
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD integration.
Familiarity with AI Products
Familiarity with machine learning workflows, AI pipelines, or model testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience mentoring QA team members or leading small test teams.
Security Requirements
Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
