Job description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our fully remote team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and executing profitable real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes, with a primary focus on the Indian market. You will conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of real estate finance, valuation methodologies, and investment strategies. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive investment memos, presenting findings to senior management, and managing relationships with brokers, developers, and other industry professionals. You will also be responsible for monitoring existing portfolio performance and identifying opportunities for value enhancement. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines is crucial for success in this remote-first position. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus. Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation of potential real estate investments. Conduct comprehensive market research and identify emerging investment trends. Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management. Manage due diligence processes for acquisitions and dispositions. Monitor and analyze the performance of existing investments. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders. Stay abreast of market dynamics, regulatory changes, and economic conditions affecting the real estate sector.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate investment analysis or a similar role. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, comparable sales, etc.), and Excel. Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics and investment principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Experience with ARGUS Enterprise or similar property analysis software is preferred.
