Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and multiple modes of data presentation to communicate to diverse audiences
Knowledge and experience with culturally responsive and equitable evaluation methods
Ability to solicit and value diverse viewpoints
Ability to collaboratively work across the agency, and with state government, school districts, and public schools

Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) participating members will have their base salary increased by 6.95% and pay a 6% employee contribution to PERS

Join us as the Senior Research Analyst at the Office of Research, Assessment, Data, Accountability, and Reporting (RADAR), and help support ODE and partners throughout the state to leverage data, research, and evidence to support improvement of educational opportunities and to advance equitable outcomes for Oregon’s multilingual students. What you will do!

As the Senior Research Analyst, you will perform data collection, analysis, and reporting in support of RADAR’s school and district accountability and data reporting. This position will focus on the execution of routine collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of data collections.

The main duties of this position are to provide data support for the following programs:
• Federal ESEA Title IA – Improving Basic Education
• Federal ESEA Title IIA – Teacher Quality
• Federal McKinney-Vento Act
• State-required Physical Education collections

Minimum Qualifications (Need to have):

A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures, and three years experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports.

In addition to the above requirements, some positions require one or more of the following:
