Are you a driven and motivated account manager, business development, or sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships? We're hiring a Sales & Account Executive to join our client's passionate sales team in Gateshead! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a role that blends customer care, inbound and outbound engagement, and strategic support to drive business success.
Our client is looking for a dynamic, proactive professional to join them on a fixed-term contract of approximately 10 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent placement thereafter. Ideally you will be available immediately or with a short 1-2 week notice period.

Overview:
• Fixed-term contract, directly employed by the company
• Salary - £27,000 + Bonus
• Hours - Full-time, 36 per week, with flexible start and finish time. Standard office hours are Monday to Thursday (8:20 AM - 4:30 PM) and Friday (8:20 AM - 1:30 PM) - early Friday finish!

?? About the Role:
Reporting to the Sales Account Executive Team Lead, you'll be the voice of the business, managing both inbound and outbound calls, developing strong relationships, and working closely with our field-based sales team to hit growth targets.
?? Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to identify needs, generate business, and grow existing accounts
• Identify and recommend relevant products/services
• Qualify and follow up leads to exceed sales targets
• Build strong customer relationships for repeat business
• Support Business Development Managers and marketing campaigns
• Manage CRM records and respond to inbound queries
• Process quotes, pricing requests, and monthly sales reports
• Apply global pricing strategies
• Provide first-line technical support (with help from our experts!)
• Always deliver outstanding customer service

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, events, and networking.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including qualification, solution presentation, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads, consistently updating CRM and reporting key metrics.
• Engage directly with C-level executives and other decision-makers to drive high-value deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, legal) to ensure smooth onboarding and solution alignment.
• Represent GoGlobal at client meetings and industry events (some travel required).
• Stay up to date on market trends, competitors, and industry developments to uncover new opportunities.
• Proven B2B Sales experience, ideally in professional services such as Global Expansion, Payroll, Accounting & Taxes or Outsourcing.
• Proficiency in building pipeline through multiple channels, including:
• Prospecting accounts (cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, outbound email cadences, etc.)
• Building and nurturing a network of referral partners who provide strong leads
• Participating in events (organizing local events or attending industry events where prospects and partners can be found)
• Leveraging an existing network of contacts
• Any other creative, proactive activity that generates new leads (we encourage out-of-the-box approaches, from business park visits to innovative digital outreach).
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience selling to C-level executives and closing complex deals
• Organized, Strategic, and comfortable working in fast-paced, remote-first global team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
