Your mission

We look for a strong candidate for our global HR Operations practice that will play a key role in supporting our mission and enable the executions of Avaloq's strategy trough HR excellence.

In this role, you will be:
• Coordinating automation projects and support development for HR Operations by applying improvement methodologies and toolkits
• Leading and driving projects and initiatives, ensuring deliverables and objectives are met in the given timeline and budget. You will be also responsible to ensure that the needs of the stakeholders, legislations, policies, standards, and best practices are meet
• Defining and applying project scheduling techniques to manage risks and expectations proactively
• Presenting projects/initiatives status and results to decision-making bodies
• Being the subject matter expert (SME) and mentor of our global HR team members around automation and continuous improvement
• Owning and updating HR policies, regulations and processes with focus on global alignments, digitalization and employee experience. Documentation of policies and processes, gathering issues, identifying automation needs/process gaps and analysing root cause issues will also be part of your responsibilities
• Product Owner for global HR tools such as, e.g. time tracking, JIRA ticketing system, HR SharePoint
• Supporting HR Operations at various locations in ad hoc topics (e.g. HR communications to employees by email or intranet)
Qualifications

What you need
• A graduation in Business Administration, HR or similar
• 3+ years of proven experience in HR automation, continuous process improvement, change management and/or project management
• In-depth understanding of operational HR processes of different geographies, ideally gained within Shared Services
• The ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders including senior management
• A working style appreciating the inclusion of geographies, levels, functions, and cultures
• A strong customer orientation coupled with excellent creation, presentation and delivery skills
• Fluency in English, additional languages (e.g. German or Italian) are an asset
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Affinity with IT tools and experience with digital collaboration platforms

• Hands-on experience in an HR Operations role
• Knowledge of tools like SharePoint, SAP or JIRA
