About The Role & Team
As an empowered developer in the User Experience domain, we need you to focus on the customer (in this case a traveler) to give them the best experience possible. You will be working with a like-minded team of people trained in various other technologies. We work together to deliver valuable software changes efficiently. You may have to help more junior developers with your expertise. We use automation to improve our productivity, without sacrificing quality. We use continuous improvement feedback loops to streamline how we develop software.
What You Will Do
• Follow coding guidelines, best practices and any technical processes that apply.
• If needed: help less experienced developers to do the same and find them work appropriate to their skills.
• Contribute to estimating the size of work to be done with the rest of the team.
• Commit to taking on and doing the work in a short sprint.
• Participates in analysis of requirements for designing new application and system features.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
• A graduate in computer sciences or engineering is essential, with at least 5 years’ experience using Drupal and PHP.
• Must know JavaScript/ECMA Script, Ajax, JSON, REST; to use microservices effectively from Drupal.
• Should be aware of Drupal Production Deployment strategies, DB migrations, Production Environment configuration, Composer and Drush.
• Should understand Drupal caching techniques.
• Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules, sites, and themes.
• Proficient with Drupal development best practices for Git flow, custom modules, updating hooks, and object-oriented design in PHP.
• Solid knowledge of CSS, ECMA Script/JavaScript, JQuery, HTML
• Demonstrate the ability to create aesthetically pleasing web pages. Work with a User Experience team member to deliver a responsive and effective interface.
• Aware of multi-language, internationalization, and security concerns in Drupal.
• Knowledge of version control / source code management, preferably in GIT.
• Able to coordinate with other team members to give an end-to-end solution.
• Familiar with using relational databases, tables, queries, and indexes; MariaDB would be advantageous.
• Able to work well either independently or as a member of a team.
