Role: Senior Software Developer - Full Stack
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with expertise in full-stack development to join our team at Stir. We are building a marketing tech B2B marketplace focused on content creators abroad, along with other AI-powered products for creative folks.
You’ll be a part of a small team where you will lead the early development of our product. You will work closely with the founding team and be expected to have complete ownership of product delivery. This will NOT be a cushy role.
Responsibilities:
• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Lead the overall design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable solutions across frontend and backend technologies.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Drive the implementation of best practices for software development, including code reviews, A/B testing etc.
• Collaborate with business team to understand product requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews and guide junior engineers in the team
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience of 3+ years working in similar roles building end-to-end products from scratch
• Experience in technologies like Node JS, Next JS, Postgres, Knex, RabbitMQ, Express, React, Selenium, RapidAPI, SuperToken and 3rd party AI APIs
• Knowledge of things like Jenkins, error monitoring systems, Docker, load balancing, scaling databases, advanced database queries and CDNs
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
