Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Software Engineer – DevOps (SDE-2 DevOps) located in New Delhi. The position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include automating deployment processes, managing cloud resources, monitoring system performance, and ensuring security compliance. Some work from home is acceptable for this role.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of DevOps/infra experience in a high-availability environment
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Proficiency with Linux system administration and networking concepts
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)
• Understanding of security principles and access control (IAM, RBAC)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
• Manage container orchestration platforms (preferably Kubernetes)
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Ensure security best practices are enforced across build and deployment workflows
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment and incident response
• Optimize cost and performance of cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or on-prem)
• Solid knowledge of Computer Science, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Programming skills
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools and cloud platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid setting
• Prior experience supporting Java-based or microservices architecture is a plus
