Primary Responsibilities
• Design and Development: Lead the design and development of high-performance mobile applications using React Native. Oversee the development of backend services using Node.js and GraphQL to support mobile and web applications
• Code Quality and Reviews: Ensure the writing of clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Lead code reviews to enforce adherence to best practices and coding standards
• System Architecture: Architect scalable and robust system architectures for mobile and web applications. Make strategic decisions in architecture and design to meet business and technical requirements
• Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality products. Act as the primary technical liaison with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
• Testing and Debugging: Oversee the development and maintenance of automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Lead efforts to debug and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Continuous Improvement: Drive the implementation of modern software engineering practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Promote code reuse and contribution strategies to minimize redundant development
• Customer Focus: Develop a deep understanding of business, market, and customer needs. Leverage this knowledge to propose and drive new or improved solutions
• Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to the team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software development. Proven experience in leading the development of mobile applications using React Native. Solid experience with backend development using Node.js and GraphQL. Experience in web development and familiarity with modern web technologies
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Deep understanding of React Native and its ecosystem. Solid knowledge of Node.js and GraphQL. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• System Design and Architecture: Ability to design and lead the implementation of scalable and robust system architectures. Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Problem-Solving Skills: Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Leadership and Mentorship: Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership. Experience leading projects and driving them to successful completion
• Customer Focus: Solid understanding of business, market, and customer needs. Ability to propose and drive new or improved solutions based on customer feedback
