Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Sourcing Engineer at microfactory.tech located in Ahmedabad. As a Sourcing Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve supplier evaluation, supplier development, supplier quality assurance, procurement, and supply chain management. You will work closely with the supplier network and ensure high-quality sourcing services for our global clients.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in supplier evaluation, supplier development, and supplier quality assurance
• Experience in procurement and supply chain management
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Visit suppliers and qualify them and on-board them
• Prepare RFQs, select suppliers, procure samples, manage operations, logistic and complete product life cycle
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze supplier capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools like Solidworks, AutoCAD.
• Strong Quality background
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
