As a Senior Specialist, Human Resources, you will provide support in functional areas of Human Resources for the assigned country or region, including, but not limited to, recruitment and employment, employee relations, benefits administration, special projects and take care of the following:
Role Responsibilities
• Assist in one or more functional areas of Human Resources for assigned country, including, but not limited to, recruitment and employment, benefits administration, and special projects.
• Monitor and coordinate Global pre employment / employment background checks screening, with regional focus. Review background checks to ensure adjudication aligns with established Western Union standards.
• Escalate debatable cases to management for final review and adjudication status.
• Communicate effectively with key partners to report inaccuracies or discrepancies in the background check process that require immediate action for resolution. Follow-up to ensure action completed.
• Communicate directly with applicant for any missing information or documents to successfully complete the background check.
• Be a problem solver to research issues to determine root cause or recurring patterns and make recommendations for process improvement.
• Establish and maintain relationship with background screening vendor to facilitate support with key initiatives and to escalate issues for research, remediation, or resolution.
• Analysis on trends to identify opportunities for continuous process improvements.
Role Requirements
• 2 to 4 years of experience in APAC background check, HR operations and benefits administration.
• Experience in analytical role that is matrix driven and applies sound judgement in decision making.
• Ability to lead and drive medium to large enterprise projects.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Experience with data aggregation to conduct analysis and run management reports is a plus.
