Job Position: Senior Database Admin.
Hiring Organisation: National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI).
Job Location: Onsite (New Delhi).
Experience Required: 7 Yrs+
Education Background: BE/B.Tech (CS/IT/Electronics)/MCA/MSC (CS/IT).
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage Database Servers.
• Managing Overall EwayBill/Einvoice database (SQL Servers 2017 and 201+) of 34 servers.
• Hardening of sql servers and helping the infra team to apply sql patch time to time. Study the impact of patch and give go ahead to apply the sql patch.
• Developing and Executing PowerShell Scripts for task automation for the movement of backup files.
• Management of around 250 TB disk associated with the database servers.
• Management of database files with partition and movement of data in rest from oltp to archival database server.
• Configuring Disaster recovery for EwayBill and Einvoices database and conducting DC-DR Drill periodically .
• Taking proactive measures against the security threats.
