Qualifications:
8+ years Database Administration experience; Should have experience in test, development and production instances.
In-depth knowledge of SQL server versions 2016/2017/2026 and above, with SSIS/SSRS/SSAS.
Experience with databases migrations of SQL servers from older to newer versions.
Experience in configuring and maintaining SQL Always ON is required.
Ability to execute performance monitoring and experience in performance tuning using dmvs, perfmon and other tools is required.
Proactively monitor databases and identify potential problems.
Excellent knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex database queries.
Write fast and performant database queries using a flavor of SQL Server.
Troubleshoot database related issues in a timely fashion.
Optimize database systems for performance efficiency.
Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects.
Ensure data quality and integrity in databases.
Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized usage.
Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
