DUTIES:
Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts; assist clients under IRS audit to substantiate the reasonableness of uncertain tax return positions; prepare financial statements and compilation engagements in compliance with GAAP and other financial reporting frameworks; conduct thorough tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations; and manage and mentor a team of junior and staff accountants, providing guidance and support in tax preparation and planning.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Public Accounting or Accounting; Five (5) years of prior progressive experience as an Accountant; Experience with CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, BNA, Aplos, Quickbooks, and Salesforce; Enrolled Agent licensure; and at least one of four parts of the Uniform CPA exam completed.
SALARY: $143,000-$148,000 per year, depending upon experience

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between
80000
and
115000
The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
