We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, with specific expertise in GST compliance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
•Prepare financial statements and reports
•Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns
•Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
•Monitor and analyze accounting data
•Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
•Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
•Coordinate and complete annual audits
•Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
•3-4 years of accounting experience
•In-depth knowledge of GST laws and regulations
•Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
•Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification
•Experience in handling audits and tax assessments
•Knowledge of local financial regulations in Surat
