We are working with a publicly traded global company with their search for a Senior Tax Provision Accountant. This role will take a lead role in the quarterly and annual worldwide tax provision consolidation and reporting process. Our client is in Los Angeles and is working a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
• With the team prepare the quarterly consolidation of the income tax provision.
• Provide quarterly tax accounting support for foreign subsidiaries.
• Monitor and document changes in income tax law, alongside the tax planning group, to ensure proper recognition and accounting under ASC 740.
• Prepare support documentation for internal control purposes for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Assist with the documentation surrounding income tax contingencies under ASC 740 and non-income tax contingencies under ASC 450.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of tax provision or compliance experience in either public accounting or a multinational corporate setting
• CPA or MST required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and tax-research software
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision Software a plus
