Job Description
As a Senior Technical Architect, Senior Manager you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and scaling sophisticated software systems within the healthcare and big data domains. You will lead and mentor a team of developers while working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, business analysts, and other stakeholders. Your expertise in architecture design, technical leadership, and experience with healthcare and big data systems will be key to delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and architecture of complex software solutions for healthcare and big data applications.
• Define system and software architectures that align with business goals and ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and other technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices in software development and design.
• Oversee the development of high-performance, scalable applications using modern technologies such as C#, .NET, React, and SQL.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including the use of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) in all software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide guidance on technical challenges.
• Keep up with the latest technology trends and introduce innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of the development process.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system designs, software processes, and development standards.
Required
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on healthcare and big data applications
• Proven expertise in C#, .NET, React, and SQL
• Strong experience in cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, including the ability to design and deploy cloud-native applications
• Experience with AL/ML Solutions in healthcare
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and management
• In-depth understanding of healthcare data systems, including HL7, FHIR, EHR/EMR systems, and compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA
• Solid experience designing and implementing big data solutions (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, ETL pipelines)
• Strong technical leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring developers and leading projects to completion
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and design practical solutions
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
• Previous experience in healthcare software solutions, including clinical decision support systems, patient data analytics, or population health management
