Senior Technology Business Management Specialist| SAP

The Senior Analyst SAP RTR will be part of the IT -Finance team contributing towards the support and development of financial applications using SAP FI/CO Technology. Based in Bangalore, India, this role will be working in partnership with Lead and Manager, Finance and other technical resources on the SAP teams, responsible for implementation of new projects and day to day support activities within the SAP Finance Technology and the other financial applications. As a Ralph Lauren Senior Analyst, you will be a part of a growing community that is Global in scope and operates across all of Ralph Lauren’s regions & application disciplines. • Works as a Subject Matter Expert with the user community, other SAP business process leads, SAP development team and other team members on IT projects • Defines and implements best business practices, adhering to the business standards for the FICO functional processes • Translates business requirements into detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and other system documentation while adhering to the organization standards • Identifies costs, benefits, risks, and alternatives in proposed system designs and their impact on the integration with other systems and SAP modules • Troubleshoots application problems and proposes optimal resolutions • Supports for monthly and year-end activities • Act as direct liaison with Finance business and ERP team for troubleshooting, business process mapping and system enhancements • Will also be responsible for maintaining additional financial systems including Concur, Vertex, IT2 • Participate in system and integration testing and production go live activities • Contribute towards best practices for CoE to optimize development efforts • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple priorities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must have proven ability to support multiple projects on an aggressive timeline • Knowledge of financial processes with preference of SAP FI/CO experience • Must have “can do” attitude and be able to work independently • Strong time management skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities on assigned tasks. • Ability and willingness to learn • Serve as a primary technical point of contact to discuss new requirements and provide knowledge of development environments and processes Experience, Skills & Knowledge • 5+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO implementation and support work experience • Minimum two full life cycle Implementation • Multiple more years of work experience with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education • Must posses’ core strength in SAP Finance (SAP FI) and SAP Controlling (SAP CO) • Should have integration knowledge of FI/CO with other SAP modules (MM and SD) • Should have in depth SAP experience with FI Configuration which includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Asset Accounting, FSCM • SAP Controlling configuration which include General controlling, Cost center accounting, Cost element accounting, Profit center accounting, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Project system • Must be an SAP accounting and costing expert • Experience in NA Sales and Use tax, EU Value Added Tax and Statutory reporting • Experience in Retail and/or Fashion Industry is a huge plus • Experience in Global Implementation will be a plus • Excellent communication (both written & verbal), presentation and business relationship skills • Experience with managing teams & business partners across the globe desired • Experience with Concur (T&E) and Vertex will be a Plus • This role is based out of Bangalore in India
