About the role
Join the passionate team at Little World for Discoverers in Oxenford, QLD.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diploma-qualified Senior Toddler Educator to join our vibrant early learning community. This part-time role will see you Leading our Senior Toddler Room to provide exceptional care and learning experiences for our youngest learners.
What you'll be doing
Leading the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programs for children aged 2-3 years
Leading the delivery of engaging learning experiences that promote the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of senior toddlers
Ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for senior toddlers
Collaborating with the team to observe, document and assess each child's progress
Building strong partnerships with families to support continuity of care and learning
Upholding all Centre policies, procedures and legislative requirements
What we're looking for
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience working with children aged 2-3 years in an early learning environment
Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with children aged 2-3 years
Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of young children
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and CPR certification
Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
Available for Immediate to 4 weeks start time is required for this position
Australian work rights are required for this position
