Senior Travel Operations Concierge (Miami Based)
About the Organization: Excursionist is a luxury inbound tour operator for the United States, Caribbean, and Canada. We work strictly B2B with the leading travel agencies, tour operators, and concierge companies around the world to help them plan and implement unique travel packages throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, which include accommodations, tours, activities, and transportation. From blending wine with a top winemaker in Napa, getting inside the Museum of Natural History after hours, or landing on a glacier in Alaska - we focus on delivering the most unique experiences for our clients.
We are looking for a Senior Travel Operations Concierge that provides legendary customer service and crucial support to our luxury clientele before, during, and after their travels.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Book and Arrange all Reservations for Excursionist Itineraries - Book all services, as-sold, with our hotels and suppliers
• Be a critical on-call, 24/7 trip support contact for the guests or local on-site providers, should they need you
• Check costings as-sold, compared to net agreements/contracts, and what the supplier confirmations read
• Maintain all Traveling Files & Records - Assist with both the performance, organization, and enhancement of all communications processes, programs, and platforms across the organization
• Process of the closure of the file including reconciliation of all bills in peak, updating the final math worksheet, and tracking the profit per file
• Assist with various data compilation or reports, including booking statistics, profit, supplier production, geographical stay data, rate discrepancies, etc ...
• Support the QA/QC process of confirmed bookings including checking hotel confirmations, contacting transportation companies and guides
Skills and Experience Required:
• Knowledge of destinations throughout the United States, Caribbean, and Canada
• Ability to work independently
• Strong business writing skills
• Basic knowledge of how to use a database
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft excel
• Related Coursework of a Graduate School level
• Second language skills are a plus
• Willing to work odd hours
This position will be based in Miami, Florida.
