The Role:

As the Senior Vice President Manufacturing, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of Centra's high-performance vinyl window manufacturing business. This executive position involves leading all facets of product development, quality assurance, sales, marketing, and operations, with a strong focus on product excellence, timely delivery, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You’ll drive strategic initiatives, foster innovation, and champion sustainability, ensuring that Centra’s offerings not only meet but exceed customer expectations.

A key aspect of this role is spearheading new product development, which is crucial for driving the company's growth and maintaining market competitiveness. Core Accountabilities:
• Drive New Product Development: Lead the strategic development and launch of innovative new products to fuel Centra’s growth, enhance market presence, and meet evolving customer needs.
• Enhance Industry Dominance: Spearhead initiatives to position Centra as the industry leader in high-performance vinyl windows, staying ahead of trends and competitors through superior product offerings and market strategies.
• Optimize Plant Performance: Establish and monitor key metrics for plant efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction, implementing continuous improvement processes to maximize operational effectiveness across all manufacturing facilities.
• Lead Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop and execute strategic plans for business expansion, ensuring scalability and alignment with Centra’s long-term objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
• Foster Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of innovation within the manufacturing teams, driving efforts to enhance product quality, streamline processes, and implement best practices.
• Steer Sales and Marketing Strategies: Partner closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and support market expansion. Ensure alignment between manufacturing capabilities and market demands to optimize the impact of these strategies.
• Manage Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with R&D, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes, aligning manufacturing strategies with broader business goals.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Lead efforts to refine manufacturing processes, optimize resource allocation, and implement best practices that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold high-quality standards.
• Build and Nurture High-Performance Teams: Inspire and develop manufacturing teams, promoting a collaborative and performance-driven culture, while investing in talent development and succession planning.
• Drive Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, monitor business performance, and identify opportunities for growth, ensuring agile and responsive operations.

Qualifications & Experience
• Educational Background: Advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field is required. Additional certifications or training in leadership and management are highly desirable.
• Proven Leadership in Technical and Product Businesses: At least 10 years of experience in leading a technical and product-driven business, with a strong track record of scaling operations and achieving significant growth.
• Technical and Process Expertise: Deep understanding of technical products and manufacturing processes, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills, with a proven track record of setting high standards and successfully implementing them across the organization.
• Change Management: Experience in leading change initiatives, with the ability to effectively communicate and sell new ideas and standards to stakeholders at all levels.
• Process Mapping: Expertise in process mapping, with the ability to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Where is the job located?

This role can be based out of Langley or Calgary. Regular travel to all locations both existing and future will be required.
