Job Description
Key role and responsibilities:
• OTIF (on time in full) % by Part (against customer's schedule and trigger) must be Adhere.
• Part Stock must be maintained as per safety stock norms value wise.
• Timely Scheduling to Suppliers.
• MIS of Schedule vs Receipts on daily basis
• Maintain MIS of Supplier Rating
• Quarterly accounts reconciliation of Supplier coordination with Accounts
• Control on Non-moving material at Warehouse
• Control on Premium Freight
• Scheduling amp; Procurement as per production projections shared by Sales.
• Responsible for achieving cost saving targets.
• Analysis of Sales correspondence amp; prepare technical deviation Statements.
• Prepare detailed RFQ for each category managed and conduct bidding.
• Analysing quotations and preparation of comparative Statement
• Issue of Purchase Orders, and immediate response to E-mails
• Follow-up of purchase orders for delivery in due time
• Verification and passing of suppliers’ bills to see that payments are made promptly.
• Coordinating with Stores and deliver the material as per Customer's requirement.
• Managed projects in tactical and strategic purchasing tasks to improve internal business processes that reduced cycle times and improved efficiencies.
• #Maintain documentation for preferred vendors by performing manufacturing assessments, ERP system set up, Site Qualification Audits and Product Validation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a similar field
• 4-+ Years of experience in relevant field
• Good communication skills
