Job Title: Senior Wedding Planner

We are currently looking for a skilled and seasoned Senior Wedding Planner to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Wedding Planner at CJDE, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and managing high-profile events. The ideal candidate must have excellent project client and project management skills and be inspired by creativity, have a discerning eye for flawless hospitality with 5+ years of wedding planning, catering or venue management experience in the wedding industry
As a Senior Wedding and Events Planner, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Drive the sales process, effectively closing deals and ensuring that clients' expectations align with our offerings.
• Assist Christine and the team with their weddings and events as needed, contributing your expertise and support to ensure successful outcomes.
• Lead the planning and execution of weddings and events, from concept development to post-event evaluation.
• Work closely with CJE event designers, leveraging their expertise and creativity to put together comprehensive design plans that align with clients' visions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences, ensuring a personalized and unique event experience.
• Oversee event budgets, timelines, and vendor management, ensuring cost-effectiveness and flawless execution.
• Network and leverage existing relationships to bring in new business opportunities while fostering new connections within the industry.
• Manage full-service, partial, and day-of coordination wedding clients at CJDE, ensuring their satisfaction and delivering exceptional service.
• Mentor and support junior coordinators and assistants, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to consistently deliver high-quality events.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a senior wedding planner with a strong portfolio showcasing successful events and a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Deep knowledge of the wedding industry, including current trends, vendors, venues, and best practices.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite, All Seated, and Basecamp is a plus (for Client Management).
• Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for staying updated on emerging event design concepts.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a design and production team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Requirements:
• Minimum of [5] years of experience in the wedding industry in either the wedding planning, catering or venue management field.
• Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
• Leadership experience in guiding collaborative planning and production teams, ensuring high-quality work and successful event execution.
