Key Responsibilities:
Design seasonal collections for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter, aligning with concept guidelines provided by our creative head to define the look of the season or special collections.
Conduct thorough market analysis to stay updated on current fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies.
Develop intricate embroidery concepts and motifs, drawing inspiration from both Indian and international designers.
Ensure the creation of precise designs that adhere to market trends and our brand's philosophy, maintaining a high design success rate and achieving set targets.
Collaborate closely with the Fabric Department, Pattern Makers, Tailors, and Cutting Masters for sample development and oversee the sampling process from start to finish.
Coordinate the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and photo shoots for each season.
Travel to various cities for fabric and material sourcing as per current trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A background in fashion design is essential.
A keen eye for detail and deep understanding of the ethnic wear market are crucial.
Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams are necessary.
Ability to work creatively within a team and independently is vital.
