Role Overview:
As a Senior WordPress Developer at Peotive IT Solutions, you will be responsible for both the design and development aspects of website projects. You will collaborate with our design and marketing teams to create visually appealing, high-performing websites that meet our clients' business goals. Your expertise in WordPress, along with your strong design skills and technical knowledge, will be crucial in delivering top-notch digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end design and development of WordPress websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
- Customization & Theme Development: Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Responsive Design: Ensure all websites are fully responsive and optimized for various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and digital marketers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Security & Maintenance: Implement security measures, perform regular updates, and ensure the websites are well-maintained and secure.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide them with innovative solutions.
- Training & Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, helping them grow their skills and contribute to the team's success.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design and development work.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress theme development, plugin customization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and the ability to translate designs into functional websites.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with website optimization techniques, including SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and responsive design.
- Ability to integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Design Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) or Figma.
- Strong eye for detail and aesthetics, with the ability to create visually engaging web layouts.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
