The Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will directly report to the Executive Manager for HR Consulting and Advisory Services, and you will be called on to manage our clients’ ER and IR issues. The day-to-day of this role involves:
Providing direct advisory services to clients over the phone,
Undertaking compliance audits both remote and face-to-face
General supervision of Workplace Relations Advisors and Consultants,
Administrative and operational tasks such as rosters, team meetings, processes, salesforce auditing etc,
Managing and representing client claims before the Fair Work Commission
Undertaking and supervising complex case management activities for clients
Preparing and delivering client briefings, workshops, training and webinars,
Nurturing deep relationships with our clients and become a critical part of their success.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for candidates with the following:
3+ years’ experience in a similar role providing advice and consultation on workplace relations matters (including in-house HR Business Partners)
Formal qualifications in Law or HR
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and Modern Award framework
Previous experience in supervising a small team of professionals would be highly regarded;
Ability to identify and support team members with individual development needs
A pragmatic and commercial approach to providing advice (both written and verbally)
Strong CRM and Account Management skills
Able to work in a fast paced and client-centric environment
Self-motivated with a desire to be the best practitioner you can be
